CAR -4.5; Carolina had 10 days to prep for this game. This extra game prep will allow them to smother the Lions offense, which has been performing absolutely horrid as of late. Detroit has been averaging 15 points per game during their 3 game losing streak while additionally, giving up 16 sacks in the last two games. It's less of a pick for the Panthers at this point than it is fading the Lions.

HOU -3; The Texans are coming off of a bye week, which could mean trouble for the Redskins. Since 2011, Houston is 5-2 after a bye with an average margin of victory of 5.1 points per game and have covered the spread on average by more than 6 points per game. Redskins are also having severe injury issues on the offensive line and are going up against two premiere pass rushers in this league. We saw the impact of these injuries last week, where the Redskins allowed a sack on 10% of their plays, which is roughly double the amount they were allowing before the injuries (5.94%). Lastly, Washington's last two games came up against the Falcons and the Buccaneers, (number 29 and 32 in points allowed per game respectively) and couldn't even score 17 points against either of these teams. Goes to show how much they are feeling the impact of their injuries.

IND -1.5; I think a lot of people are very high on the fact that the Titans just beat the Patriots last week. As the week continues, the line gets closer and closer, but I have these two teams as even, and since the Colts are the home team and with Luck as the starter having never lost a game against the Titans, it's going to be hard to go against the Colts in this one.
