How to use Coinbase(BTC).

I have been asked by a few members how to use Bitcoin with Sportsbooks, or anything else for that matter. So I am going to try to write a simple guide on how to Signup, Buy, Trade (Send), Receive, Sell, and then Send US Dollars to your Bank account or Paypal. It's fairly easy. I will be adding and adjusting this guide and I need to. Using BTC (Bitcoins) with books in my opinion is the best way to send and receive money. For most books, there are No fees to send or receive. So Deposit and Withdraw fees we used to pay no longer apply. With BTC there are no fees that come with other transactions with books when using Creditcard etc.


Step one is to decide what Wallet to use for your Bitcoins. What I mean by Wallet is Account. This instruction will be geared to Coinbase.com. But there are others like CashApp (Mobile phone geared) and BlockChain.

*Keep in mind most BTC companies look down on Sportsbooks, so Never disclose where your Bitcoins are going and coming from.

To Start, set up an account at Coinbase:




At Coinbase Homescreen Click on "Get Started" in the upper right, noted by the Red Arrow. It will then take
you to the Next Screen.





Simply enter your First name, Last name, Email, and Choose a Password. Then click on Create Account.

After you Create your account they will ask you to Validate your Email as many sites do. After this process and you re-log in you will come to your Dashboard.

The next thing you will want to do is adjust your setting. This is where you will enter your Personal and Financial information to process your transactions (Buy and Sell Bitcoins). You get to your setting page by clicking on the Person Icon in the upper right. Signified by the red arrow here:



Clicking on that will bring up a menu with your Name + Email. Along with Settings, Taxes, Help, and Signout. At this point click on Settings

Which will bring you to the Settings Menu. Below.





Now to setup your Payment Methods click on it on the settings menu. Which will bright you up to this screen.




From here you can add your Checking Account, Credit Card, or set up PayPal to buy Bitcoins (BTC).

Adding a Credit Card and your PayPal is straight forward. Adding a checking account is just like in Paypal. They will
make a small deposit into your account and you must verify it through Coinbase. After you do you will be able
to add UD Dollars to your Coinbase Account to buy, BTC. More importantly, after you sell Bitcoins you can withdrawal the money back to your checking account. Takes 1-2 days.


After you purchase the Asset (Bitcoin) it should show up on your Profile screen from your Dashboard (It is shown below):
