Detroit Tigers ML +120 , -1.5 +198
This is partially a fade of the Twins. Their offense is horrendous and going up against a good pitcher in Reese Olsen and backed by an elite bullpen. Bailey Ober has had a rough start to the season who has had decent success against the Tigers but I don’t think he gets any run support today.
LA Angels ML +110 ,-1.5 +166
These team's numbers are very similar and neither one stands out that much. The Angels bullpen has been slightly better and that’s why the model has them favored here. This game will likely come down to which Patrick Sandoval we get. He’s hasn’t really faced many people on the Reds. While the Angels have hit Ashcraft well so that is why I’m leaning Angels here.
